Our mission is to provide a lifeline for those with limited resources by offering essential services such as nourishing food, warm clothing, quality education, and compassionate health counseling throughout the Carolinas. We are dedicated to making sure individuals and families feel valued and supported during their most challenging moments.
Our commitment extends beyond our borders to the vibrant communities of Haiti, where we work diligently to bring hope and relief to the people of Balan, a suburb of Port-au-Prince. There, we provide access to clean, safe drinking water, educational opportunities, nourishing meals, and clothing, as well as essential health counseling. We understand that even the smallest acts can create profound impact, and our goal is to uplift those who need help the most.
Since our founding in 1990, Shekinah Hands of Deliverance Ministry has been a beacon of hope as a faith-based organization, dedicated to empowering individuals through a wide range of educational programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of the community. Through our partnership with Helping Hands of Carolina, we have broadened our efforts to include impactful initiatives such as teen pregnancy classes and after-school tutoring, which are designed to foster growth and resilience, along with our critical HIV/AIDS prevention education.
For over three decades, we have been devoted to serving the youth by teaching them vital skills to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases through comprehensive abstinence programs. For those who are already sexually active, we equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary for practicing safe and responsible behaviors. Additionally, we empower young people to stand strong against peer pressure, make informed choices regarding drugs and alcohol, and cultivate their self-esteem and confidence.
In 2007, our journey took us to Haiti, where we had the profound honor of connecting with the community in Balan. With open hearts, we distributed food, clothing, and shoes to families in need and provided nurturing care to the children. This experience not only deepened our commitment to serving those in need but also illuminated the power of compassion and community collaboration.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we invite you to be part of our mission. Together, we can weave a tapestry of hope and support, creating lasting change and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most. With every contribution—no matter its size—you help us provide essential resources and transformative support to uplift our communities. Join us as we strive to inspire a brighter and more hopeful future for everyone. https://cash.app/$SHODMin Zelle 803/322/6129 Pastor Carole
